you'll attract more fans with whine than vinaigre

How does that that old saying go, you'll attract more fans with whine than vinaigre?

I woke up this morning filled with profound Gratitude and Awe that after 14 years of non stop hard work and profound investment in my music, there are 7 people who like my music. WOW! SEVEN people!! ...Amazing. It's true....folk music IS a great livelihood. Can I get an AMEN! SEVEN people! Let's dream big folks... who's number EIGHT? NINE? TEN?? Let's shoot the moon here.... Will you LIKE my new band page?...You'll get videos, guitar lessons, background stories, new songs, slide picking, fiddle tunes, paintings...more than I can share at a concert. OK? Here we go...Ready, set....."LIKE" Thank You! Love, Joe C.

Where's the Folk? Certainly not Performing at the Newport "Folk" Festival

In 1972 Sara Peller asked "where's the beef"?

In 2015 Acoustic Pop is Not Folk asks "where's the folk"?

Click on the videos of the "folk" artists booked by the Newport "Folk" Festival, we think you, too, will be asking "where's the folk".

The Bluegrass Situation reports "Newport Folk Festival has announced the first round of artists for their 2015 lineup.
So far, the lineup includes The Lone Bellow, Calexico, Heartless Bastards, Bahamas, Leon Bridges, Haunt the House, Brandi Carlile, Sturgill Simpson, Courtney Barnett, Langhorne Slim & the Law, Traveller – Cory Chisel, Jonny Fritz & Robert Ellis, Nikki Lane, Madisen Ward & Mama Bear, The Suffers, First Aid Kit, Laura Marling, Shakey Graves, J Mascis, Blake Mills, Field Report, and The Jones Family Singers..."
It appears the Newport "Folk" Festival has turned into Bonnaroo North.
We're waiting for folk artists be announced.
